Summer

They say that Summer is the most uncomfortable time of the year for a woman to be pregnant. Summers in Alabama are bad enough without having to carry another person around inside you all the time. By mid-June, Martina (who is usually the "cold" one) practically had me frozen out of house and home.

Here she is with Jillian on June 12th:



As we moved into the sweltering heat of July, Martina had another of her regularly scheduled check-ups at Brookwood Hospital. Here she is on July 1st, just before heading out the door:



Note that the wall behind her has changed from its previous drab grey to a more vibrant and youthful "Fun Yellow," which is the new color for Jillian's future room.

Once at Brookwood that day, we had yet another opportunity to see Jillian through the amazingly modern 4-D Ultrasound.



Getting kinda cramped in there, huh? Don't worry, you can always pass the time by sticking your entire fist in your mouth...



You may speculate amongst yourselves as to which side of the family she inherits her "big mouth" from.
