Long before Jillian was Jillian, when she was just simply referred to as "The Baby," we began a photo log of Martina's pregnancy as a way of documenting her progress.
Here she is on March 23rd, 2008. A slight bulge in the midrift is the only giveaway.
Here she is again on April 3rd. Not too much difference.
On that same day, we got our first clear look at Jillian. Earlier ultrasounds showed nothing more than what I called a "fuzzy dot." Hardly anything you would feel compelled to attach a real name to. But on March 23rd, through the magic of some newfangled 21st Century technology known as the "4D Ultrasound," we were able to see her face for the first time.
Yeah, that's her all nice and cozy inside Martina's belly. Outside in the World, people are buzzing about things like Hillary, Obama, and "The War." But little Jillian could care less. She is sleeping away, oblivious to the cares of the World outside.

The ultrasound tech described her as "very muscular," but Martina had already figured this out on her own. The little girl can kick! We are convinced our future daughter will come out as either a professional soccer player or a karate champion.
