Day at the Zoo

Well, I have been wanting to take Jillian to the zoo for quite some time now but not sure what would be the appropriate age for her to get something out of it. I guess not everything is about what will she remember (she is only 11 1/2 months old)but more about the experience. We got the opportunity today to go to the zoo as part of my husband's alumni program for his college. It was a pretty good day, only moderate amount of sweat and a little fussiness. All in all we got to see everything that was available, create a snake art project and enjoy our family time together.

This was Jillian's favorite animal at the zoo. They made alot of noise and did several dances with their wings spread wide open.

It was time to go home after spending all afternoon at the zoo. It was a lot of fun but we all needed a nap after that adventure.
