15 months and WALKING

Well, Jillian was 15 months old earlier this month and we couldn't be prouder of our growing girl. She has learned about seven words including da-da, ba-ba(that's me), baby, light, up,octpus(aka octopus),eat (she can even sign "eat") and uh-oh. We practice the alphabet daily, as well as the numbers. She loves music, stuffed animals and Baby Einstein movies, especially Baby Beethoven. She has been walking with assistance for a while now and we have been anxiously waiting for her to walk on her own. Thursday, November 19th was the first time that Michael and I saw Jillian take her first steps (check out the video on an earlier post).

She had her 15 month checkup on the 18th and her stats are 19 lbs 10.5 oz(7th%), 31 1/2 inches long(75th%) and 18 1/2 head circumference(80th%).

All in all our girl is growing big and strong and right on track.
