Birthday Cake and Birthday Boy and Girl
On Friday, we tried out the new Tazikis restaurant close to Riverchase and the food was good as well as fast. Saturday morning was spent at two consignment shops looking for winter clothes for Miss Jillian. My Little Lollipop was the first one and we got some really cute Christmas items as well as fall/winter two piece outfits. Next we headed to Kids Market and Mom off of Lakeshore to see what they had. All in all, it was a productive shopping excursion and Miss Jillian was quite the trooper. We lunched at Chick Fil A later in the afternoon and made a quick trip to Babies R Us before returning home. Ricia arrived around 3pm and we opened presents, talked and relaxed before getting ready for dinner. Saturday evening we went to birthday dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and as expected the honey wheat thin crust pizzas were delightful. We even had enough for another two meals. Sweet Jillian was so tired that she fell asleep in the high chair at CPK. It was an early evening for Jillian and her mama!
Sunday was another fun, busy day. It started with meeting the Moulton family for birthday brunch for Uncle Marc and the afternoon involved the installing of a new white fan for Jillian's room, compliments of Papasan and Da-Da.
Another good weekend that sadly had to come to a close! Back to reality and another week of school and work.
