"S" Day

Well it was Monday, October 13 and Jillian had her 2 month check up doctor appointment scheduled. Little did she know it was "S" Day. I knew what it was.... Shot Day. Her first set of immunizations were supposed to be that day and I anticipated the morning appt. by giving her baby Tylenol. She seemed to like the cherry taste and it definitely made me feel better to think she was "prepared". She cried when given the shots, but promptly fell asleep in her car seat once they were over. I actually was strong and didn't cry but instead focused on soothing her as a mother should. She was fussy the rest of the day but by night she was sleeping soundly. Well, one set of shots down and two more months to go til the next ones.
